Our Commitment
Accessibility Statement
Radiant Pelvic Health & Wellness is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We strive to provide a website experience that is usable and welcoming for everyone.
Our Standard
We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological differences.
Ongoing Efforts
We actively work to improve accessibility through:
- Semantic HTML structure — proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and page regions for screen reader navigation
- Descriptive alternative text on all informational images
- Keyboard navigation — every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators
- Responsive design — content adapts to all screen sizes, including zoom up to 200%
- Clear form labels — all form inputs have explicit, associated labels
- Skip-to-content link — keyboard users can bypass navigation to reach page content faster
- Color and contrast — body text and essential UI elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements
Known Limitations
We are actively working on the following:
- Third-party embedded content — YouTube video embeds on our directory and blog pages are controlled by YouTube’s player. We rely on YouTube’s built-in accessibility features (captions, playback controls) for these embeds.
- Some accent text colors — a small number of brand-colored inline accents may fall below WCAG AA contrast for smaller text. We’re refining these in upcoming design updates.
- PDF documents — if we publish PDFs in the future, we will ensure they are tagged and screen-reader compatible.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of:
- Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
- Voice recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom up to 200%
